The site is situated in the contemporary Umhlanga estate, Hawaan. While privacy from the other houses was important, the house opens up to fully take advantage of the Northerly forest views and distant sea views on the horizon.
The combination of off-shutter concrete and mild steel off-set by large, glazed elements completes the contemporary feel of this modern home.
